Smriti Srivastava

Mithila Artist | Workshop Mentor | Cultural Curator

Smriti Srivastava is a dedicated artist and passionate promoter of Indian traditional art, especially Mithila (Madhubani) art. With a deep connection to cultural heritage and creativity, she has been actively working towards preserving and promoting this ancient art form through her artistic practice and community initiatives.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from Banaras Hindu University and an MBA from Nagpur University, combining academic excellence with artistic passion.

She plays a key role in KalaDhwani Arts Foundation, where she works closely with women artists from across India, helping them showcase their talent and build sustainable livelihoods through art. Her efforts focus on nurturing creativity, providing guidance, and creating opportunities for artists—particularly those from rural backgrounds—to gain recognition and financial independence.

Smriti has conducted more than 150 online workshops and has trained 2000+ students in Mithila art. A significant number of her students are now actively participating and exhibiting their artworks in various exhibitions, reflecting the impact of her mentorship and dedication.

She is also known for building a strong artistic community through digital platforms, where thousands of artists collaborate, learn, and grow together. Her work reflects a blend of traditional techniques and contemporary expression, keeping the essence of Mithila art alive while making it relevant for modern audiences.

Sudip Kumar Srivastava

Director | KalaDhwani Arts Foundation

Sudip Kumar Srivastava is an experienced corporate professional and art promoter with over 25 years of diverse industry experience. He has worked with reputed organizations such as CEAT Tyres, Reliance Industries, and ICICI Bank, where he contributed significantly to management, operations, and organizational development.

Alongside his corporate journey, Sudip is deeply committed to promoting and preserving Indian traditional art, particularly Mithila (Madhubani) art. He is actively involved in empowering artists through KalaDhwani Arts Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting women artists across India by providing them with platforms to showcase their work and earn a sustainable livelihood.

Through his initiatives, thousands of artists—especially women from rural and urban backgrounds—are being connected to opportunities in exhibitions, workshops, and digital platforms. His work focuses on bridging the gap between traditional art and modern markets.

Saumya Srivastava

Director | Creative & Program Coordination

Saumya Srivastava plays a key role in managing creative initiatives and coordinating workshops and exhibitions at KalaDhwani Arts Foundation. With a strong understanding of both traditional art and modern presentation, she ensures that every program is structured, engaging, and professionally executed.

Saumya Srivastava holds a BBA-LLB degree from Amity University, Kolkata, and is currently working with a multinational corporation (MNC), gaining valuable experience in the corporate and legal domain.

Her work focuses on artist coordination, workshop planning, and maintaining the quality and authenticity of each initiative. Through her efforts, participants receive a seamless and enriching experience while artists gain meaningful exposure and support.

Sugandha Srivastava

Director | Outreach & Artist Relations

Sugandha Srivastava oversees outreach initiatives and artist relations at KalaDhwani Arts Foundation. She works closely with artists, institutions, and collaborators to build meaningful connections and expand opportunities for traditional art forms.

She is an Honours graduate from the University of Calcutta and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Public Relations, building a strong foundation in communication, media, and strategic engagement.

Her role focuses on communication, partnerships, and ensuring that artists are supported at every stage—from participation to recognition. Through her efforts, KalaDhwani continues to grow as a trusted platform that bridges artists with wider audiences and cultural institutions.
